Do I need any design or art background? | 需要有设计背景吗？
No. Many of our students start with no design or art background. We teach the fundamentals step by step, including structure, proportion, colour coordination and design principles.
Students are not taught to simply copy the instructor’s designs. Once they understand the fundamentals, they learn how to adapt, combine and apply the techniques in different ways — making it easier to turn their own ideas into original balloon creations.
We teach the system first, then teach you how to think beyond it.

Does learning a structured system limit creativity? | 系统化学习会限制创意吗？
No. Creativity is an important part of the way students learn at Popalloon Academy.
Students are not taught to simply reproduce the instructor's designs. They first learn the foundations behind balloon design — including techniques, structure, proportion, colour coordination and design principles.
Once these foundations are understood, students learn how to adapt techniques, combine different methods, change structures and develop variations from what they have learned. This helps them move beyond following tutorials and become more capable of turning their own ideas into original balloon designs.
At Popalloon Academy, we teach the system first, then teach students how to think beyond it.

What does Popalloon Academy teach? | Popalloon Academy 教什么？
Popalloon Academy teaches balloon decoration, balloon styling, commercial balloon setups, balloon business skills, pricing, marketing, and signature balloon designs including lion dance, dragons, Fortune Cats and God of Wealth designs. Students also receive access to proprietary tools that help simplify balloon design and planning.

Is the course online or offline? | 线上还是线下？
Both. Online builds the full knowledge and technique foundation — you can learn at your own pace, even from another country. Offline adds hands-on, real-world practice at the Academy.

Does Popalloon Academy only teach balloon making? | Popalloon Academy 只教做气球吗？
No. Popalloon Academy combines balloon skills with practical business education. Students can learn not only how to create balloon products and decorations, but also areas such as product development, pricing, customer orders, marketing and business operations. The goal is to help students apply their skills in real-world situations, whether for a side income, home-based business or an existing balloon business.
